Al-Shalaan Group is a leading exporter of Egyptian yellow (golden) onions — one of Egypt’s flagship vegetable exports. Grown in the fertile Nile Delta and reclaimed lands, our yellow onions are known for their firm bulbs, golden-brown skins, pungent flavour and excellent storage and shipping life. Egypt’s harvest window lets us supply high-quality onions to global markets at competitive times of year.
Product Specifications
- Type: Fresh yellow / golden onions
- Export season: Main crop typically March to July; available from storage beyond
- Sizes: 40–60, 50–70, 60–80 mm or to buyer specification
- Packaging: Mesh bags (5, 10, 25 kg) or cartons, to buyer specification
- Cold chain: Cured, then stored and shipped cool and dry (approx. 0–2 °C)
- Loading: Ventilated or refrigerated container to specification

Our onions are produced within recognised food-safety and quality frameworks with farm-to-market traceability.
