Al-Shalaan Group exports premium Egyptian red onions, prized for their deep purple-red skins, firm flesh and mild-to-sharp flavour. Grown in Egypt’s fertile Delta and reclaimed lands, our red onions are graded, cured and packed to international standards for retail, food-service and processing buyers worldwide.
Product Specifications
- Type: Fresh red onions
- Export season: Main crop typically March to July; available from storage beyond
- Sizes: 40–60, 50–70, 60–80 mm or to buyer specification
- Packaging: Mesh bags (5, 10, 25 kg) or cartons, to buyer specification
- Cold chain: Cured, then stored and shipped cool and dry (approx. 0–2 °C)
- Loading: Ventilated or refrigerated container to specification

Our onions are produced within recognised food-safety and quality frameworks with farm-to-market traceability.
